From Monday, March 3rd to Friday, March 7th, Perins School celebrated National Careers Week, inspiring students with real-world insights into the world of work.

Throughout the week, a diverse group of guest speakers generously shared their career journeys, from their school days to their current roles. Visitors included prison officers, sports broadcasters, university lecturers from the University of Southampton, and many more, offering students a firsthand look at the many different ways careers can evolve.

"It was really eye-opening to hear how careers don’t always go in a straight line—there are so many different paths to success!" – Year 10 Student

We are excited to continue welcoming more visitors throughout the rest of the academic year. If you're interested in volunteering, please email us to express your interest.

A huge thank you to all our visitors for their time and to our Perins subject leaders for organizing these invaluable sessions!
