Perins Community can wear their PE kit when attending school.

Dear parents/ carers
According to the MET office the temperatures for the rest of this week are set to rise further.
For the rest of this week, we will therefore allow our Perins Community to wear their PE kit when attending school.
This will be correct Perins PE Kit, a white polo shirt and navy blue shorts or skorts, the PE kit list can be found at PE Kit & Requirements - Perins School . If a student has a PE lesson during the school day a spare PE kit would be advised for hygiene.
It will not be acceptable to deviate from the correct PE kit expectations; this will mean that leggings/ shorts/ skorts need to be navy. Tutors will be checking the PE uniform in the morning fashion substitutes will not be accepted nor will shorts/ skorts which are overly tight/ small.
If you could assist with a quick uniform check, conducted at home prior to your child leaving for school, that will be much appreciated. If there are students inappropriately dressed, they will be asked to change into full uniform which will be lent to them for the day or a parent called to bring their uniform into school.
We will be monitoring how students respond to this concession, which will assist in informing future decision making.
Unless the forecast changes and we communicate differently, we will return to school summer uniform from Monday 23rd June.
