We understand that it is an especially tough time for many families.

Local Food Banks and Community Support

If you are in need of food assistance, there are several local food banks and community larders available to help:

  • Alton Food Bank: Offers emergency food and support to people in crisis in Alton and surrounding areas. They are part of the Trussell Trust network. For more information, visit their website or call 07773 034447
  • Winchester Basics Bank: Provides emergency food and clothing for individuals and families in Winchester and surrounding areas, including Alresford. They operate through referrals from agencies, churches, and individuals. For more information, visit their website or call 01962 8557741.
  • Basingstoke Foodbank: Offers emergency food parcels to those in crisis. They work with local agencies to provide support. For more details, visit their website or call 01256 3227332.

  • The Salvation Army Basingstoke: Offers food parcels and other support services. Visit their website or call 01256 3286592.
  • Winchester Community Food Pantry: Enables members to “get more for less” by providing a range of fresh, frozen, and general foods. Anyone is welcome to shop at the pantry once a week. For more details, visit their website or call 01962 807037

Community and Mental Health Support

Teen Project

We are delighted to announce that Perins School has partnered with Personal Best Education to deliver the Hampshire Teen Project this Easter holiday.

This enriching programme is offered to students aged 11-16 who are in receipt of benefit-related free school meals, providing them with the opportunity to participate in a range of engaging activities.
