Last week, audiences enjoyed a run of sold-out Pinocchio pantomime performances in Old Alresford and we were incredibly proud to see that a large number of the talented cast were Perins School students. The show was a fantastic success, showcasing the commitment, creativity and confidence of pupils who have been rehearsing lines, songs and choreography since September. Performing to full houses across six performances is a remarkable achievement.

We were also delighted to see the production directed by former Perins pupil Rebecca T, who only completed Year 11 with us this summer and is already making her mark by directing such a successful run of shows. Her achievement is a wonderful example of where passion and determination can lead beyond school.

The pantomime was produced by TOADS, a well-established local theatre group whose members range in age from 8 to 80. TOADS has been entertaining the community since the 1980s and continues to stage popular and high-quality productions each year, including a spring show and annual pantomime, often featuring familiar Perins faces on stage.

Congratulations to all Perins students involved for performing with such professionalism, energy and creativity. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented the school and contributed to such an enjoyable production.
