Perins School Celebrates Outstanding GCSE Success!
We are incredibly proud to share the phenomenal achievements of our Year 11 students in this year’s GCSE results!
This cohort began their secondary journey during the pandemic, navigating lockdowns and social distancing. Despite these challenges, they’ve delivered results that are nothing short of extraordinary.
Key Highlights:
- Attainment 8 scores rose by over 3.5 points compared to last year, a huge leap!
- Nearly 25% of all grades were a 7 or above, with double the number of grade 8+ results from 2024.
- Over 80% of students achieved grade 4+ in both English and Maths.
- In over half of all subjects, more than 80% of students earned a grade 4 or higher.
- 100% pass rate in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for those taking separate sciences.
- A surge in language learning: triple the number of students took two Modern Foreign Languages, with a 100% pass rate at grade 4+ in both!
Top Achievers:
- 11 students scored over 80/90 in Attainment 8.
- Special shoutout to Olivia B, Rory S, and Maciek K for achieving 11 grade 4+ passes.
- Congratulations to George B, Sophie C, Maddie H, Amy H, Rory S, Sam C, Lydia S, Chris W, Maciek K, and Gabriel W for securing seven or more grade 8/9s!
