Year 8 Rugby Squad Battle Hard at National Schools 7s

On Thursday, 28th March, our Year 8 rugby squad took on the challenge of competing in the Rosslyn Park National Schools 7s, the world’s largest schools’ rugby tournament. With teams from across the globe, the event provided an incredible experience for our students as they faced top-level competition.
The squad showed resilience and determination throughout the day, competing fiercely in four closely contested matches against strong opposition from England and Wales. Their efforts were rewarded in their final game, where they produced a brilliant performance to secure a well-earned victory against a Welsh school—an amazing way to end the tournament!
To top off an action-packed day, the team had the opportunity to watch the final stages of the U18 competition, featuring many rising rugby stars. It was a fantastic chance to see the next generation of elite players in action and take inspiration for their own rugby journeys.
Well done to the entire squad for their hard work, teamwork, and perseverance—we’re incredibly proud of you!
