Double Honours for Harry – King’s Scout Award and DofE Gold Celebration

We’re incredibly proud to share the amazing achievements of Harry D, who has recently been honoured with the prestigious King’s Scout Award, the highest accolade a Scout can achieve.

Featured in the Basingstoke Gazette, Harry’s recognition is the result of years of dedication, commitment, and community service. This award is given to those who demonstrate exceptional leadership, resilience, and personal development—and Harry has done just that.

But the celebrations don’t stop there! This week, Harry and his family headed to Buckingham Palace to mark another huge milestone: attending the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award garden party, in recognition of the DofE Gold Award he completed last June.

Amazingly, Harry completed both the King’s Scout Award and his DofE Gold in the same month—so it’s a happy coincidence that both prestigious celebrations have come together this spring!
