A Magical Day at Harry Potter Studios

On Thursday 27th November, our Media Studies department whisked 47 excited pupils away for an unforgettable behind-the-scenes experience at the Harry Potter Studios.

The visit offered a fascinating glimpse into the world of movie-making. Pupils took part in a special lesson on costuming, where they had the rare opportunity to see some of the iconic costumes from the films up close. This hands-on session gave them a deeper understanding of how wardrobe choices help bring characters to life on screen.

After the lesson, pupils explored the awe-inspiring sets used throughout the Harry Potter series. Walking through these incredible spaces truly brought the magic of filmmaking to life, sparking creativity and inspiring future storytellers.
