This past weekend, 34 Year 10 students embarked on an exciting adventure to the New Forest for their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award Practice Expedition. The trip was a fantastic opportunity for the students to hone their navigation skills and experience life on a campsite.

Despite encountering a few bogs that tested their boots, the students maintained high spirits and demonstrated excellent teamwork throughout the expedition. Their ability to work together and support one another was truly commendable.

In addition to navigating and camping, some students took the initiative to record their experiences and begin research for their study, which will be required for the final expedition in June. This proactive approach will undoubtedly benefit them as they prepare for the next stage of their Duke of Edinburgh journey.

Overall, the weekend was a great success, showcasing the resilience, determination, and camaraderie of our Year 10 students. We look forward to seeing their continued progress and achievements in the upcoming final expedition. Well done to all involved!
