Year 8 Science Update

8P1 have been working extremely hard in Science and have recently completed their topic on Waves. To showcase their learning, students were challenged to create a summary of light waves and sound waves.

Most students chose to present their work as posters, with others producing excellent PowerPoint presentations. They demonstrated strong study skills by using only their exercise books to support their work, which was particularly impressive.

Mrs Rowe was delighted with the whole class’s dedication and the clear understanding they showed of the topic. These resources will be very useful as students prepare for their Spring assessment before half term.

The class has now moved on to Electricity and are enjoying building and testing circuits as part of their new learning.
