Our new wellbeing garden has been planted and is looking lovely. We are extremely grateful to Ann Stow, of Stow Garden Designs, for the donation of plants from her amazing show garden. Ann won a Gold medal for the Alresford inspired garden she exhibited over the May bank holiday at the BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Show at Beaulieu.
Ann’s donations have been planted out in the wellbeing garden by Dr Eacott and the re-wilding club to make a beautiful display. We would also like to thank Alresford Men’s Shed for constructing benches out of pallets, so the garden is now a great place to take students needing a quiet space for some wellbeing support. The large picnic benches and tables made from sleepers are ready to be dug into position – anyone with experience and special hole digging equipment that could help with this task please get in touch with Dr Eacott (dreacott@perins.hants.sch.uk).
