Year 11 students are invited to attend a workshop on writing and improving their college applications.
This is a free service offered to us by Queen Mary’s College and will be held on the Perins school site on Tuesday 30th November and Wednesday 1st December, running from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Students may attend one or both sessions. It is not necessary for students to be applying to QMC in order to attend the events – they are open to all Year 11 students.
Students who have already started writing applications will still benefit from the one-to-one feedback and group discussion before submitting to colleges. For those who may have already submitted their applications to their chosen colleges, it can still be a very useful opportunity to work with someone from a college and gain further insight into the application process, what colleges expect and even help to prepare for work and further education applications.
Although this is not a compulsory session, please register your child’s interest by completing this Microsoft Form so that we can prepare the space and session accordingly. Students are expected to make their own way home/be collected following the session.
