On Friday 31st January – 40 pupils will be taking part in the History Department’s annual tour to Belgium and France to visit the battlefields of the First World War and other places associated with the GCSE Warfare course. This will include Lijssenthoek cemetery, The Menin Gate and Thiepval memorial to the missing of the Somme.
We will be posting whilst we are away and hope to make some pilgrimages of family members who served in the war.
