The Friends of Sun Hill Junior School are delighted to be supporting the Alresford Rotary by organising the children’s races, on Sunday 16th June 2024. Please click here for full details and to register.
TIME: Registration opens at 08:30 am
VENUE: Arlebury Park
COST: £4.00 per child pre-register or £5.00 per child on the day

If you are a member of the 7AS school group, you can return your completed form to your school office (paper copies available from the office on request). All early entry forms must be completed and submitted no later than 3pm on Monday 12th June, completed forms can be emailed to adminoffice@sunhill-jun.hants.sch.uk
On the day
It will be possible to register on the day from 08:30 am until 09:00 am for those unable to do so beforehand. Registration on the day costs £5.00 per child – you can pay using cash or card! We’ll be behind the building next to the finish line.
TIMINGS:
08.30 am FOR REGISTRATION
09:10 am – School years 4-6 – 2 laps of the field
09:20 am – School years R-3 – 1 lap of the field
09:25 am – Preschool Race – 50-meter dash
There will be a medal, donated by Chocolate Craft for first, second and third place in each race!
Once your completed registration form and payment have been received, you are in the race! We will issue stickers on the day which will need to be stuck to your child/ren’s top on the day for them to compete.
On the day of the race, no child/ren can be left unattended, they are the responsibility of their parent/s/carer. The Friends of Sun Hill Junior School cannot take responsibility for any injuries or loss of property. Alresford Rotary First Aiders will be available on the day, if you require assistance, please find one of the designated First Aiders or a member of The Rotary team.
