Celebration Day:
Our celebration day will be taking place on Thursday 6th of June. After the students’ morning exam, they will have their final year 11 assembly, their year group photo (details are at the bottom of the email), followed by our celebrations on the field which will include a hog roast (a vegetarian option will be available if requested). We aim to also have an ice cream van and inflatable activities available. Please note it is essential that all students have full school uniform for the whole year group photo (including blazer). I would also recommend a spare shirt be brought in for signing and a change of clothes might be needed for some of the activities on the field, leavers hoodies and yearbooks will also be given out on the field in the afternoon.
All students will be expected to leave the school site at the end of the normal school day. I would like to highlight that this day is a celebration of their time at Perins and this day is a positive day. I understand there will be plenty of excitement but any poor behaviour including bringing prohibited items/substances onto the site, or anti-social behaviour will lead to your child’s removal from the school site.
Year 11 Prom:
The Year 11 Prom, will take place on the 28th of June at the Holiday Inn, Winchester, on Telegraph Way, SO21 1HZ Road. Arrivals will start from 18:30 with the food buffet being served from 19:45. The DJ will play the last song at 2300, this will be the closing time. Students are free to be collected before this time but no later than 23:15.
We are hiring a private function space, so we need to adhere to their rules, no external food or drink may be brought into the function room, and we must only use the space we have hired. Perins staff will be on duty to try and avoid any mistakes that might potentially happen. Anyone caught drinking alcohol or under the influence of alcohol will be removed from the venue and phone calls will be made for collection.
This is a great memorable experience for the students, and we do not want to have to intervene, but poor behaviour will not be tolerated. Prom tickets are now available on Scopay and priced at £33, this fee includes, a welcome drink, buffet-style meal, DJ hire and venue hire. Please note the deadline for ticket purchases is the 14th June

Year 11 School laptops
All students need to hand their laptops/chargers in after the Physics exam next Friday 14th June (unless they still have exams the following week). For those who wish to keep the laptop, we will ‘undomain’ the device and have them ready for collection on results day. There is a £10 transfer of ownership fee (in line with HMRC rules on gift aid donations) which can be paid via Scopay. Please note the transfer is for the device only, all Microsoft licences will expire in time and you will then need to provide a new licence for the device.
