It’s that time of year when we hold our fabulous annual Arts Festival, which has been running for a whopping 26 years. For those new to the school our Arts Festival is a competition held across the school to celebrate the talent of the student body. Pupils have the opportunity to enter their work in many different categories.
There is a Performance Award and a Non-Performance Award up for grabs this year. The shields will be presented during an evening performance on Thursday 18th April.
This year our theme is ‘Happy Ever After’ The students do not have to use this as a stimulus, but it is there if they would like a starting point. The students complete the work in their own time, and there is a form for them to upload their work/image of their piece.
Events we have had in the past are:
Art | Photography | Prop Making |
Dance | Public Speaking | STEM |
Drama | Creative Writing (winner last year!) | Food technology- Bake off |
Music | Journalism | Martial Arts |
Animation | Film Making | Poetry |
MFL | Maths | RE |
Please do encourage your child to take part in this fantastic school event. Thank you so much for your support, the students are extremely excited about it, as are we!
