Last Friday Miss Toner organised a jam-packed trip to Poetry Live for fifty of our Year 11s.
Students had the opportunity to hear several of their GCSE English Literature poets read their work and speak about their motivation for writing.
Poets included Imtiaz Dharker, Carol Ann Duffy and the ever-popular John Agard, as well as Poet Laureate Simon Armitage. @Poetry Live
