Last week saw 28 students enter the first of this year’s Pokemon inter-house tournaments.
As a knockout competition, the battles were incredibly close with some results going to the toss of a coin. It was wonderful to see students enter from all four houses and all five year groups. After some close matches, our final was between Alex S and Matthew H both in Year 8.
The luck of the cards was against Alex at the start. Still, Matthew displayed some outstanding sportsmanship and eventually came out as our winner taking home the most converted Funky Pop Pikachu trophy.
We look forward to seeing who will reign victorious in our Easter and Summer term competitions.
