Congratulations to Edward E’s (Y11) U16 boys team who won the National Cup on 2nd April beating Guildford 5-3.
Last weekend, they also did the double, winning the England Hockey Tier 1 Supra League. The final was incredibly tense against Hampstead and Westminster and they won on penalty shuffles! Apparently, the first-ever team to win both titles in the same year.
Edward was also listed as the 3rd highest goal scorer across the whole tournament.
The boys must also be commended on the camaraderie between them all which shines through in the commitment and connection shown on the pitch. Sport at its very best!
