This is a reminder that the School Age Immunisation Team are due in school to carry out the HPV immunisation session for Year 8s on Monday 17th April 2023. During the HPV immunisation session, they will also be vaccinating any children who have previously submitted a consent form in Years 9-11, who either require their second dose, or who have previously missed their first dose.
Students who are having the vaccination should eat and drink before coming to school, have a snack with them (or money on their canteen account to purchase food), and ensure they have their water bottle.
Please can students also avoid wearing tight-fitting shirts as they will need to roll up their sleeves for the vaccination.
If you have not already submitted an electronic consent form, please do so here (only 1 consent form is required per child.) Please complete it no later than 48 hours prior to this date to allow time for the nurses to triage the forms in preparation for the session.
