Year 11 have had a successful first half term of 2025, engaging well both in the classroom and with extra-curricular sessions. They should be proud of their success to date and this sentiment was shared at Parents Evening last term. The evening was very well attended, and many supportive conversations were had across departments. Students are encouraged to keep communicating with their teachers to give them the best opportunity to succeed in their summer exams.

There are some exciting opportunities coming up, we have a Theatre Company visiting on Thursday 27th February in which all year 11’s will be involved and our Prom fundraising Year 11 Quiz Night on Friday 14th March. As well as these events, if they have not already had them, students have their college interviews and begin their final preparations for the summer.
On Thursday 3rd April inspirational speaker Chris Lubbe, one of Nelson Mandela’s bodyguards, will be spending the afternoon with Year 11. We believe Chris’s inspirational stories will re-invigorate our students’ aspirations at this crucial time and will send them into the holidays determined to become the best version of themselves.
