On Monday 30th September, Year 11 had an extended assembly with 5 local colleges visiting. The students were engaged throughout, and the afternoon ran smoothly.
The colleges were keen to support students with their future applications and will be attending the Careers fair on Monday 14th October, the same evening as Parents Evening 1 for Year 11.
If any students would like help from school with completing their applications, they should speak to their Form Tutors in the first instance. Some of the colleges have also offered to hold application workshops should students need additional help.
The PowerPoints shared during the afternoon will be uploaded to the Year 11 page on the Perins site shortly. College applications are due in December for most local colleges, so it is imperative students begin to think about their futures and make their applications if they haven’t already.
