Sports Day is scheduled for Mon 22 July. Field events and the 1500m will run during lessons in the AM (unfortunately parents won’t be permitted on the school site at this stage). All remaining track events and a volleyball event will take place between 1245 and 1515. Parents will be welcome to watch the afternoon activities. Unfortunately, parking will not be available on the school site. We ask that parents sign-in at a table set up on the field.
We would like competitors to wear full PE kit to school on Sports Day (we are happy for them to wear headbands and wristbands in their house colours, too, during the afternoon). Non-participating students will lend their support by spectating the afternoon’s events, these students have the option to wear PE kit (worn to school) or school uniform. Please ensure that students are equipped with suitable sun protection (lotion and cap). We also ask that they bring two bottles of water to school. If the forecast nearer the time is for extreme heat and your child suffers in hot weather, please email their tutor in the days before so that they can be allocated to a suitable classroom during the afternoon’s events. If heavy rain is forecast on Monday morning, events will be postponed to Tue 23 July.
