Freya J, in Year 7, recently competed in the latest tennis Nationals, the Junior Scottish Open in Edinburgh. She progressed to the top 16 players in her singles and did amazingly well in her doubles, finishing runner-up out of the 16 pairs that competed.
The final was an extremely close match, lasting well over 2 hours and she lost by just two points in a match tiebreak, 7-6(4), 6-7 (5), 8-10.
A fantastic standard of tennis was played over the week and well done to Freya for this achievement.
