This term, Year 8 Spanish students have been working on the topic of food and how to order in a restaurant.
They worked on a project that focused on restaurant dialogues and culminated in a performance where students acted out their scripts. The objective of this project is to enhance the student’s communication skills in Spanish within a practical and everyday context.
Throughout the project, students worked in pairs or small groups to create their own menus, write scripts in Spanish and then perform their dialogue.
“It was a great opportunity for students to put their language knowledge into practice but also promoted teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence. Well Done Year 8!” – Mr. D Eastham – Head of Modern Foreign Languages
