The Technology department continues to work closely with the Junction on various projects, in line with the curriculum followed in the main school.
In DT, the Junction pupils have been drawing plan views of living areas and making models to bring these designs to 3D life. The Junction pupils have also been doing some graphic design, looking at layout, fonts etc to then create posters about Health and Safety. They have then been following their safety rules when using the tools in the workshop to manufacture bird boxes, which should be completed soon after half term.
In Food Tech, pupils continue to cook regularly in the Junction and alternate between sweet and savoury dishes. Last week they made Banoffee Pie, which was something of a crowd-pleaser and led to an interesting discussion about balanced diets!
