Congratulations to Brandon C (Year 7) who participated in the 2024 Hampshire Track and Field Championships at Mountbatten Stadium in Hilsea. It was his first time competing in the Hampshire Championships for BMHAC, so he did not know what to expect.
On the Saturday, he ran the 800m and achieved a new personal best. On the Sunday, he competed in the u13 100m heats (3 heats) and advanced to the final with another new personal best.
The final took place at the end of the weekend, and all the boys were eager to start. It was an exciting race, and Brandon managed to finish in joint second place in the final 100m with yet another new personal best.
It was a very successful day for everyone, and it was inspiring to see the talent of the athletes in Hampshire. Well done to all who attended.
