Perins very own Sophie J, Year 10, has had a great start to the 2024 Aerobic Gymnastics competition year competing in her first international competition, The Czech Open, in Prague. Sophie competed with a newly formed Aerodance team, in which they became the first reserve for the final, securing 10th place overall. This amazing performance has qualified them to compete in the World Trials later this month.
Last weekend Sophie also competed in the Southern Region closed and open competitions, narrowly missing the podium to take 4th place in her individual routine, out of 32 competitors, 1st place in the trio routine and 2nd place in the Aerodance routine. Sophie is looking forward to competing again in two weeks’ time.
