Following a week of remembrance-themed assemblies, a 2-minute silence was held on Friday, whereafter the History leaders laid poppies at the school remembrance tree. The students were all incredibly respectful and took time to reflect.
On Sunday, Evie S (Y9) and Izzie C (Y8) represented our School giving a thoughtful presentation at the St Johns Church Remembrance Service, where they also laid a wreath at the Perins School memorial.
Perins School raised £165.04 this year for RBL which is £33.00 more than last year. The schools’ total this year is £469.17 a big increase, largely due to a schools pack of mixed items that each of the lower schools had. Several of the collectors outside the Co-op commented on how nice it was to serve Perins pupils who came to them on their way home from school.
Thank you so much to everyone who has been involved in the school’s appeal. #PrideofPerins
