In common with many schools, we ask that parents do not drop off or pick up on the school site.
We’ve received a complaint from a local resident of Station Close that unfortunately, they keep getting blocked in by our parents using the residential road to drop their children off for school.
We fully support our neighbours and emphasise that this is not appropriate. When deciding where to drop off or pick up your children, please use areas that are safe, and well-lit (especially as we enter the winter months), and minimise the need to cross roads. Local roads are small and busy and when parking or stopping, drivers should always ensure they follow the rules and guidelines of the highway code.
Please note also that parents are not permitted to drive through the school site as they drop off.
