Congratulations to Paige K in Y7, who appeared on Saturday 7th October with her dance school at The Anvil in Basingstoke’s Variety Show where she performed to a sold-out theatre with an audience of around 1200 people.
Her dance school were chosen to perform 3 dances and even open the show with a commercial dance performed by 36 dancers representing Meraki Dance Studios. Even though the school faced an emergency closure beginning of September, because of concrete found in their building, the students showed resilience and commitment to carry on with last-minute changes and rehearsals at various venues.
We are all super proud of her achievement through so many challenges to have performed to a large audience as well as the Major of Basingstoke.
