Perins played local rivals Kings in the final of the Under 13 Plate Final, a great achievement for two state schools to reach the final with both schools playing independent schools on their route to the final.
Kings batted first and Posted 111 all out, 3 wickets each for Guy P (Y9) and Joby B (Y9) but a special mention to George C (Y9) who got the vital runout of the Kings batsmen who was well set on 55.
A steady start to the run chase with only 24 coming off the first 6 overs but the runs started to flow more easily after that. Joby was the only wicket to fall in the run chase for 24 after a 63-run opening partnership. Freddy W (Y9) saw his team home with a mature and well-paced innings, he was joined by Alex C (Y8) to get the job done.
A fantastic end to a really positive season!
