A splendid number of students embraced sports day, stepping out of their comfort zones to represent their house.
After a morning and afternoon of many gripping contests (100 in total), Aqua House took the overall title.
Records were broken on the day by Ben B (Y10B high jump – 1.78m) and Ned S (Y9B javelin – 40. 08m).
Other stand-out individuals included Rory S (Y9) with four victories, Ava S-C (Y7) with three victories and Charlie C (Y9), Sean G (Y10), Tom M (Y10), Ned S (Y9), Ruby H-M (Y9), Billy G (Y8), Toby B (Y7), Ruby G (Y10), Alexis H (Y9), Olivia B (Y8), Sophie J (Y8), Jemima N (Y8) with two victories.
Olympic Values trophies were presented to Aura O, Elodie C, Bethany T, Aurelia W, Rostik H and Ruby G.
Students enthused by this taste of athletics will be able to attend the indoor athletics club on Thursday lunchtimes in September.
