The year 10 Work Related Learning group worked collaboratively to produce 18 beautiful hanging baskets for Perins Staff. Students learnt how to create order forms, budget for the plants, and create thank-you tags. The activity took part in Perins Wellbeing Garden, where the students also learnt about different species of plants and gardening techniques. The group also created hanging baskets for Perins Open evening, to be able to contribute back to the school community.
The group raised an impressive £70 profit and voted that the money will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Mrs Pearce would like to thank Dr Eacott and Mrs Fores for their help too.
