Rory S competed in the Yr9 category at the National Schools’ Biathle (run, swim, run) at Leweston School, Dorset and had a fantastic race finishing in 2nd place! He now has 3rd, 1st and 2nd respectively at this competition.
Rory has also recently completed his second year playing hockey for Hampshire; this past year for the U14 boys’ team. He is currently taking part in DC trials and hoping to make it through selection to represent Hampshire U15s next season.
In other news, despite still being age 14, Rory has now moved into the U17 boys’ category in his modern pentathlon sports of biathle, triathle and laser run. Given the age bracket competition has been tough so we are all incredibly proud that he has gained a place on the GB team going to Erding, Germany for the 2023 European Championships. He will be taking part in the U17 boys’ Laser Run event.
