Pride Month celebrates the LGBTQ+ community’s diversity, history, and achievements. At Perins, celebrating Pride Month promotes inclusivity, acceptance, and understanding among students. It creates a safe space for LGBTQ+ students, fosters empathy, challenges stereotypes, and helps cultivate a supportive environment that celebrates and respects everyone’s identities and experiences.
In this spirit, Mr Eastham and Miss Ellis delivered assemblies this week to all-year groups on LGBTQ+ education. Additionally, year 9 students have been involved in a project based on the film ‘Love Simon’.
