We are pleased to announce that on the 18th and 25th of May we are lucky enough to have Dr Hugo De La Pena visiting the school to talk to year 7 about cancer. Dr De La Pena is a consultant medical oncologist, but also a parent of children at Perins.
Dr De Le Pena will be discussing the common causes of cancer and will also be educating the students on the dangers of vaping and smoking. The session will be child-appropriate and an opportunity for the students to talk to a leading consultant who will be able to answer their questions in a safe environment.
