The Library team invite all students to join us for the Perins Carnegie shadowing book club which will be happening Tuesday lunchtime in the library from the 18th of April to the 20th of June.
The Yoto Carnegies are the UK’s longest-running and best-loved children’s book awards, recognising outstanding reading experiences created through writing and illustration in books for children and young people.
The Yoto Carnegie Medal for Writing is awarded by children’s librarians for an outstanding book written in English for children and young people.
Join us to read, discuss and review the books on each shortlist, engage in reading-related activities which you can share online, and vote for your favourites to win the Shadowers’ Choice Awards.
The Awards mission is: To champion librarians to inspire and empower the next generation to create a better world through books and reading.
