The History Department, along with 40 yr9 pupils, will be going to the WWI Battlefields of Belgium and France on Saturday 11th February – Tuesday 14th February.
We will visit Ypres and the Somme, to learn about the impact of WWI as part of our GCSE warfare course. The trip usually runs every year but has been on hold for 2 years due to Covid, so we are very much looking forward to it!
A reminder that pupils will need to be at school at 7.45 am so that we can leave promptly at 8.00 am.
