Please be aware that Sports Hall based sports clubs (badminton, basketball and Wednesday lunchtime indoor athletics) will not run during the Year 11 trial exams period, 7th to 18th Nov as the Sports Hall won’t be available.
Belfast
31 Perins students from Y11 proved to be outstanding ambassadors for the school during this half term’s Belfast rugby and netball tour. Both teams performed admirably in fixtures against local clubs and schools. Surfing in Portrush, an historical city tour and visits to the Giant’s Causeway and the Titanic Museum helped add to a memorable adventure.
Golf
5 Perins students competed at the Hampshire Schools Golf Championships hosted at Cams Hall Estate during half term. All students performed admirably, their net scores were as follows:
Ralph B (68), Harvey V (62), Tobias C (69), Oscar V (73) & Jacob H (74). Harvey V’s nett score of 62 earned him 3rd place in the boys’ nett competition.
The following weekend, Tobias C won a junior tournament at Alresford Golf Club.
