In common with many schools, we ask that parents do not drop off or pick up on the school site. We’ve received a complaint from the residents of Hankins Court – a private development opposite the school exit on Jacklyns Lane – that their property is being used for parking despite clearly legible signs asking people not to do this. We fully support our neighbours and emphasise that this is not appropriate. When deciding where to drop off or pick up your children, please use areas that are safe, well lit as we enter the winter months and minimise the need to cross roads. Local roads are small and busy and when parking or stopping, drivers should always ensure they follow the rules and guidelines of the highway code.
