Can we please ask you to ensure that we have up to date information on your child’s medical conditions so we are able to support our students appropriately should they need first aid.
You will have provided details originally via the data form on entry to school but if anything has changed, please check and update via the SIMS Parent App or alternatively email reception@perins.hants.sch.uk with new details. The SIMS Parent App will also allow you to check and, if necessary, update your contact details as we have recently had several instances where we have been unable to contact parents and carers.
If a student feels unwell in school the process is that they should come to the school Reception or speak to the nearest staff member to ask for help. Students should not be contacting parents directly as this then bypasses our safeguarding process. If a student needs immediate assistance to avoid any “time lag” the school protocol should be followed. The students should also know that they cannot use their phones in school. We would appreciate your support in applying this policy consistently.
